There’s just about nothing more miserable for people than wet feet and it happens to all of us. Whether you are out there in the rain or even just from your own sweat, your boots are going to get wet.

So the bottom line is there’s a simple solution for it – it’s the original dryer from Peet. It’s a really great product made in the USA. It’s not expensive and all you do is come home, take your boots off, plug the unit into your wall, set your boots on the dryer and it sends warm air that circulates through your boots and then, three to eight hours, no matter how wet your boots are, you’re going to have dry boots.

The other thing about constantly having wet boots and not drying them out consistently is the fact that your boots aren’t going to last as long. I don’t care how nice they are. The more moisture that’s constantly bombarding your boots, it’s going to wear them out quicker.

Peet dryers don’t get hot to the touch and they don’t degrade leather, rubber, insulation materials or stitching in your gear.

This will also protect your feet, because wet footwear can cause blisters, and promote the growth of fungus and bacteria. They are so good that they have been approved by the American Podiatic Medical Association.

So you’re going to get comfort and you’re going to get longer life out of your boots if you get one of these Peet dryers.

Peet Original

The original Peee dryer is an electric dryer and it’s easy to use. All you got to do is put your boot or shoe on, plug it in and walk away. Once that heating element gets warm, the warm air will rise up through the tubes and circulate through your boots or your shoes.

It’s that simple. No matter how wet it gets, it’s gonna dry anything overnight.

So if you’re out and get your boots soaked, you’re still gonna have them dry in the morning and they’re gonna be warm. Or if you’re just out with running shoes, taking a jog around the neighborhood, working out in the yard, use your Peet dryer. Put your shoes or boots every day on, it costs pennies a day to leave the dryer on all the time.

In service since 1968 and made in the USA!

Peet Multi and Advantage

What’s the advantage? It uses forced air, it’ll dry anything in four hours. Turn the timer on and dry anything. You can dry two pairs of boots, use different accessories to put gloves or even a helmet on.

The multi dryer, also two pairs or boots, you can use accessories, your gloves or your helmets. It’s going to dry with convection heat, the heating element heats up, heat starts to rise to the tubes and flows through your boots or whatever product you have on top and it’s a continual process until they’re dry.

So the difference is that the advantage dryer is going to force warm air through your boots or whatever product you got on there and they’re going to get dry fast, in four hours. When I come in in the middle of the day and we’re going to go back out that afternoon, I love my advantage dryer because it gets this done fast for me.

Both of these dryers have a very sturdy base, no matter how heavy the boots or product you’re putting on there are, it’s not going to tip over.

Peet Propane (Portable)

It is for all of you out there that are going into remote areas, where there is no electric power, and you need to be able to keep your shoes and boots dry – camping, fishing, hunting, any type of adventure activity, that dryer is for you.

Given the cost of high quality footwear these days, the Peet dryer is a small expense to help make those boots last much longer.

A must-have item for anyone that wears footwear all day long.

You wear them, your feet sweat, that footwear gets wet, maybe you work long hours, it doesn’t have a chance to dry out by the next morning. Before you put your foot back in them, wear them again, they’re not completely dry, even though it may feel it up in the top, you reach down to the toes, there’s that moisture from the day before.

This product takes care of it. Simple, fast, effective! This is a beautiful item! Great gift item, very popular for that. It’s American made, it is electric so you just plug it in, it’s silent, there’s no fans on it whatsoever, so it can be used indoors, even in sleeping areas.

It just has some vents in the back, it pulls the cool air in, pulls up the little heating elements down inside of the tubes, warm up and then warm air passes up through the boot. Warm air gets into all of the places where moisture can hide.

So you plug these in and there’s no noise. After a few minutes you put your hand, you’ll feel the gentle warm air coming up. What that does? It dries boots nice and slow so that it won’t damage them. So if you have gore-tex footwear or sneakers, you don’t want high heat on those.

If you put high heat inside of them, drying next to a wood stove or a hot radiator, it’s going to dry them too quick, they’re going to dry out, they’re going to crack, you’re going to really shorten life of that boots. In some cases, like with sneakers, they can actually come apart on you because the heat loosens the binding materials that hold them together.

I really appreciate that it doesn’t shrink leather boots.

Plus when you do it that way, a lot of people would throw their boots next to the stove, it dries them from the outside in, you want to dry your boots from the inside out.

You can leave it plugged in all the time. You really don’t have to unplug it. It draws 37 watts of electricity so it costs just pennies a day. So that’s almost a third of the electricity that 100-watt light bulb would use.

You just take your footwear when you come home, slide it, you drop it on it and that’s it. You just forget about it. Go to bed, go relax. When you get up in the morning your boots are going to be warm and they’re going to be completely nice and dry from the inside out.

If you work outdoors, wear your sneakers all day, you work at an office, your shoes you wear, those need to be dry. This will take anything.

There’s attachments you can buy. You can buy higher attachments to make it longer. You can pull attachments on it to dry gloves.

The only problem with these is if you have more than one person in the house that wants to use it, there is going to be fighting over, so it doesn’t hurt to have a couple of them.

It has four vents, timed heating cycle, on and off heat so you don’t have to run heat through this thing. If you just want to run fresh air through it so you don’t dry out your boots completely, which means drying out the leather and releasing a little bit too much of the oil that’s in the leather, then you can put it on no heat and then it’s just moving air around inside your boot.

That’s one of the functions that I truly do like – the heat or no heat function. And the fact that I have four vents instead of just two vents, is kind of something that I really like and I think is really practical when it comes to work boots in winter or wet seasons.

Not only can you fit the tubes on, but with the way these four exhaust chambers are is that you can get a glove on each one.

Another thing that I really like about this is the fact that exhaust tubes are so long. You can actually get that whole boot on. Some of them you might have to roll up a bit but most of them are going to fit right without rolling them up.

By the time you get that boot on and warm air starts moving through, the fan pulls a lot of air past the outside so there’s this whole suction thing that’s going on around this thing.

A boot dryer is not just about the wintertime. Because it could be the middle of June, the middle of July and your feet are still going to sweat, so having a boot dryer to dry out the sweat is also a really good idea.

You’re probably wondering about gore-tex line boots and the heat messing up your liner. Won’t happen! The heat from the unit is not hot enough to hurt the gore-tex barrier.

The major complaint that people have about this unit is the noise. It’s a timer that controls the amount of time that the fan is going, that the heating elements on, so you can crank this thing up for three hours. So that means you get three hours of fan and three hours of heat. That’s a lot of time, that’s a lot of heat, that’s probably enough to dry out your basic insulated waterproof boot that you just completely sweated throughout the day or if you’ve got a neoprene boot it should be enough time to dry one out.

People say this thing is super loud. But it sounds like a fan running, you could still hear voices over it. It’s not that bad, it’s not earth-shattering, it’s not annoying, unless you got such a little tolerance for annoyance.

MaxxDry unit is not loud at all! In fact, because of how the unit works, with that fan, that’s a pretty good thing because that fan is pulling fresh air around, sucking it through, running it through the heating element and pushing it out the exhaust tubes which is drying your gloves, which is drying your boots, which means the next day when you go to work you’re going to have dry boots and dry gloves and you’re going to be happy.

It is a collapsible model so you can break it down just by pulling it apart and it’s a great travel model. You can use it for gloves, shoes, there’s different attachments. You can get a right angle if you need to put it down. It have a point into the toes of a ski boot.

The other great thing is it’s got an auto off timer so you can adjust how long you want to actually drying, walk away and will shut itself down.

Great simple tool to travel with.
